IKC Chicago Dog Show | 02.26.11 - 02.27.11

Are you a dog lover? Do you enjoy watching adorable dogs prance around a room and perform fascinating tricks? If yes, then you’re in luck! Coming at the end of the month The International Kennel Club of Chicago is celebrating its 150th Dog Show from February 26th-27th at McCormick Place, North Building, 2301 S. Lake Shore Drive.

The show will feature over 8,000 dogs from 150 breeds. Spectators are welcome to attend the event as well as visit the many vendors that will be setting up camp in the space. The events start at 8am and run until 5pm on both Saturday and Sunday. Tickets can be purchased for $18 at the door (kids 12 and under are free). Final details about the event will be posted on the event’s website.

Some of the activities featured during the show include a Meet the Breeds schedule where you can visit specific breeds of dog and a Demonstration schedule for people interested in watching tricks and special performances. The final schedules will be posted by February 16th. For more information you can also contact the office by telephone at 773-237-5100. Green Metropolis Fair at the Irish American Heritage Center | 04.16.11

M&J will be at Green Metropolis Fair at the Irish American Heritage Center (4626 N. Knox, Chicago IL) on Saturday, April 16.

The fair will celebrate spring, sustainable living and wellness. Entry is free for everyone, with requested donations of non-perishable food items. The program will include hands-on activity for kids and presentations on car-sharing, gardening, composting, energy efficiency and more, and it will also hold multiple showings of Dirt! The Movie and Vanishing of the Bees. Several vendors, from food and drinks to clothing and jewelry – and of course, M&J – will also be present.

The fair will go on from 10 AM til 4 PM so be sure to drop by and say hi to M&J!

American Boxer Club National Dog Show 2011 | 05.08.11 - 05.13.11

The M&J team will be attending a big show in Kentucky May 8-14, and no, we are not talking about the Derby! The American Boxer Club is hosting its 68th annual National Dog Show at the Drawbridge Inn in Ft. Mitchell, KY.

Hundreds of beautiful Boxers, their owners, handlers and fans will come together to celebrate this handsome, athletic and fun-loving breed. The show features events such as Agility, specialty competitions, a Parade of Veteran Champions and Obedience trials (we will be taking notes during that portion!).

M&J has a sideline booth to showcase our products while cheering on the competitors with Moe, the ‘M’ of M&J. If you are in the area, please come visit the M&J booth! We will be giving out samples of our Nutrient Fusion Pre-Bath Treatment, answering questions about our products and there may even be a show special!

Annual Adopt-A-Pet Event at Chalet Nursery | 06.11.11

M&J Dog Essentials will be attending the Adopt-A-Pet Event at Chalet Nursery Saturday, June 11 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. We will giving out free samples of our Nutrient Fusion Pre-Bath Treatment while fawning over the adorable dogs and puppies (cats and kittens too) from Heartland Animal Shelter and “As Good As Gold” Golden Retriever rescue.
Come join us for this fantastic cause, maybe you will be lucky enough to meet your new best friend! Those who adopt a pet on June 11 will receive a $50 gift certificate towards their first pet purchase at the award-winning Pet Essentials department at Chalet Nursery!

Cluster of Dog Shows at Purina Farms | 06.02.11 - 06.06.11

The M&J Dog Essentials team will be attending a cluster of dog shows June 2nd-6th at the Purina Event Center in Gray Summit, MO. The show will feature dogs from the Mississippi Valley Kennel Club, Missouri Rhineland Kennel Club, Gaitway Pembroke Welsh Corgis, Gateway Sporting Dog Association and the Gateway Terrier Association. The five-day cluster of shows will feature a variety of dog breeds from each group.

Both of the M&J Canine Consultants will be in attendance giving away free samples of Nutrient Fusion Pre-Bath Treatment while cheering everyone on. If you’re planning on going to the show, make sure to stop by the M&J Dog Essentials Booth and say “hi”! We have a few show specials that you won’t want to miss!

Little Fort Kennel Club of Waukegan Dog Show | 06.17.11 - 06.19.11

The M&J team will be attending the Little Fort Kennel Club of Waukegan dog shows June 17-19, 2011. Admission to the show is free, it will be held at the Lake County (IL) fairgrounds, show hours are 8am-5pm. The show will feature special events such as a “Puppy Spectacular Competition”!
Make sure to visit the M&J Dog Essentials booth, we will be handing out free samples of our holistic dog grooming products and will offer a show special that you won’t find anywhere else! We hope to see you there :-)

SuperZoo | 09.13.11 - 09.15.11

M&J Dog Essentials will be attending SuperZoo this year, featuring a number of their holistic, all-natural dog grooming products. The small, family-run company’s concoctions have received 5 star reviews from dog owners around the country who rave about the value of the products for their dogs- the shampoos, conditioners, leave-in treatments, creams and rinses all boast a perfect PH balance for dogs and are ideal for creating shiny, luxurious coats and healthy, moisturized skin.

SuperZoo will be held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada September 13-15, 2011. Natural Products Expo East | 09.22.11 - 09.24.11

M&J Dog Essentials will be attending The Natural Products Expo East this year. The show will be held at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, Maryland September 22-24, 2011. M&J Dog Essentials will be in the Pet Products Pavilion in booth 1338.

H.H. Backer 45th Annual Pet Industry Trade Show | 10.14.11 - 10.16.11

M&J Dog Essentials will be attending the 45th Annual Pet Industry Christmas Trade Show at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL. The all-natural shampoos, moisturizers and conditioners are pH-balanced for dogs, contain no harsh chemicals or synthetic fragrances and are made proudly in the USA. M&J will be introducing new products and new takes on some of our classic Essentials. The M&J team can be found on the second floor in booth 3628.

2012 International Kennel Club Dog Show in Chicago | 02.24.12 - 02.26.12
