Are you a dog lover? Do you enjoy watching adorable dogs prance around a room and perform fascinating tricks? If yes, then you’re in luck! Coming at the end of the month The International Kennel Club of Chicago is celebrating its 150th Dog Show from February 26th-27th at McCormick Place, North Building, 2301 S. Lake Shore Drive.
The show will feature over 8,000 dogs from 150 breeds. Spectators are welcome to attend the event as well as visit the many vendors that will be setting up camp in the space. The events start at 8am and run until 5pm on both Saturday and Sunday. Tickets can be purchased for $18 at the door (kids 12 and under are free). Final details about the event will be posted on the event’s website.
Some of the activities featured during the show include a Meet the Breeds schedule where you can visit specific breeds of dog and a Demonstration schedule for people interested in watching tricks and special performances.
